New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tragic Hero Records' first ever hip-hop artist, Whitney Peyton, has returned with her second full-length album, iridescent. After releasing a new single every week throughout the summer, the awaited record is available for physical copy and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. The ten-track album features an array of featured artists including, Rittz, Cryptic Wisdom, and Young Wicked. Working with Craig Mabbitt and Kevin Thrasher (Escape the Fate) on the production of her album, iridescent has created an experience both rap and rock listeners can appreciate.

About Whitney:
Whitney Peyton is continually being recognized by her contemporaries at the top of the hip-hop scene as one of the hardest working up and coming artists. The solo rapper from the outskirts of Philadelphia uses real life inspiration in her songs to pull listeners in for more. After signing with Tragic Hero Records in 2017, Whitney released the full-length album, Firecracker: Pyro Edition to much critical acclaim. On Firecracker, her signature hip-hop style and rock-infused tracks showcased a diversity and ability to conquer different genres, evidenced by her cracking the Billboard charts, having reached #3 on the Top New Artists Albums, #9 on Overall Rap Albums, and #11 on Current R&B/Hip Hop albums. Whitney's genre jumping and everchanging momentum has allowed her the opportunity to hit the stage with a wide variety of artists including, Twizted, Tech N9ne, Rittz, Born of Osiris, Volumes, The Dead Rabbitts, and to perform at well known festivals such as Northern Invasion and The Vans Warped Tour.

After Whitney's first-ever headlining tour in early 2018, she went back to the studio to record her brand new album iridescent, featuring a plethora of well-known hip-hop artists such as Rittz, Cryptic Wisdom and Young Wicked. Additionally, Craig Mabbitt and Kevin Thrasher of Escape the Fate and long time friend Ben Bruce (Asking Alexandria) returned to the studio to collaborate with Whitney on her new material, resulting in another exciting array of featured artists. Produced by Godsynth and mixed by Bingx, the album is everything a true Whitney Peyton fan could want. Whitney is excited to be joining Lil Debbie for the "My Own Lane" tour this August and September as she performs songs from her upcoming album iridescent, which will be available on August 24th, 2018.
