Official Selection Of The Maryland International Film Festival-Hagerstown, "The Walls Embrace" Launches VOD; Some Proceeds To Benefit Help Heal Veterans
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) An official selection for this year's Maryland International Film Festival-Hagerstown, the powerful documentary, The Wall's Embrace, emotionally explores the psychological impact of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and its enduring power to heal. An Official Selection of six film festivals and winner of two awards, "The Wall's Embrace" is now streaming on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video and Google Play.

In honor of Veterans Day, the film available via Video On Demand (VOD) will only cost $1.99, and part of the proceeds will benefit Help Heal Veterans. Help Heal Vets is a veteran service organization that provides free therapeutic help to hospitalized and homebound veterans. The organization is more than 45 years old and annually helps thousands of veterans.

HHV CEO John McCain said, "We are grateful for the donation to HHV. Every donation helps veterans heal from their physical and mental ailments. It is fitting that part of the proceeds from the film The Wall's Embrace will benefit veterans."

"The Wall's Embrace" reveals the predicament of returning vets, often with undiagnosed PTSD, who were unable to expose and confront emotional and psychological wounds in a country grappling with an unpopular war. Vets, families, founders of the Wall, and experts help make sense of the pain and release and bring you to an understanding of this memorial's unique healing legacy and solemn, emotional impact on visitors. The profoundly personal and deeply moving histories lead to insight into the cathartic power of the memorial - a place to connect, grieve, reflect, and finally feel acknowledged for their sacrifice.

From November 4-11 it will be on sale in honor of Veterans Day.
