Prophet J Releases New EP Album 'No Cap'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Prophet J has released his latest official EP album, "No Cap." The EP contains 10 original Prophet J tracks for an approximate total listening time of about half an hour. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Smooth yet direct, performed in a mellow groove even when it is aggressive, "No Cap" showcases Prophet J as one of the most intriguing hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

The California Bay Area's Prophet J cites as main artistic influences Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Jay Critch, Lil skies, Lil baby, Gunna, PNB Rock, Lil Uzi, A boogie, UNOTHEACTIVIST, Meek Mill, and NBA Youngboy. Prophet J's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on rhythm, style, and J's unique brand of urban poetry, "No Cap" by Prophet J has a little something for everybody.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of "No Cap," Prophet J writes, "That you can get out the way, do what you wanna do, take what you wanna take, lead how you want to lead, and leave your mark on the world how you want to. Myself the right way. It shares that it's my time and it's only going to get better and better."

Ultimately, though, Prophet J says the meaning is in the music.
"My message is in my flow," he says, "which I feel the people should like."
A West Coast kid through-and-through, Prophet J still manages to be a man of the world. He has family in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

Asked to describe himself as a musician, Prophet J says, "I do it for the fans because they everything I got, and I feel I fail if I don't take care of them all at some point in my life. I'm a straight shooter, I don't like to be played with. I'm humble, young, hungry for the challenges and to overcome, and I take no prisoners."

Humility notwithstanding, Prophet J has no delusions about his rising musical success.
"If you think I won't make it, you're tripping," he writes. "You should always bet on me. It's a blessing to say I'm even at this point, but I know there's even more to come. I'm confident in that."

"No Cap" by Prophet J is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, hip hop fans.
