Female Electro Duo Hannie Return With Pop Anthem, Featuring Isaiah Dreads
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Female electro pop duo HANNIE return with another pop anthem, featuring Isaiah Dreads and Hicari, and co-produced by Embody, dropping January 25th.
Stream 'Drama' here: https://soundcloud.com/hannieplays/drama-feat-hicari-isaiah-dreads/s-1cE8p

The duo consists of Hannah Koppenburg, originally from South Germany, and Annie Wagstaff, born in Surrey, who came together simply uploading cover videos to YouTube and Instagram. Within a year, HANNIE had gained over 290,000 followers and have released four singles, featuring the likes of Ralph, HIGHT and Carys Selvey, receiving support from the likes of Wonderland, Earmilk, The Line of Best Fit and BBC London.

When explaining the meaning behind the track, HANNIE stated: "The song is about breaking up with someone who then goes and gets in a new relationship pretty quickly and throws it around in your face. They are clearly not good for each other but at the same time suit each other perfectly. It's one of those situations when people thrive off the drama in their relationships."

The track was written alongside Hicari, a writing duo, and co-produced with Embody. Isaiah Dreads, known for hisFire In The Booth on 1XTRA's Charlie Sloth show and appearance on BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac Show, took the reins as soon as he got into the studio, immediately rapping over the track and creating a new Middle 8.
'Drama' is set for release January 25th with Kobalt Music.
"The catchy, upbeat tune has a bright pop energy and carries off exactly what it was intended to do - 'make people dance'" - Wonderland Magazine
"Hannie are busy bringing us all the super-sweet pop bangers we need" - The Line Of Best Fit
"Sparkling pop with a summer-fresh funky feel" - Clash
