Dreadzone, Wildwood Kin & A DJ Set From Don Letts Join The Line Up For "A Beautiful Night Out" At The Royal Albert Hall
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall are happy to announce Dreadzone, Wildwood Kin and Don Letts as support acts for "A Beautiful Night Out" featuring and curated by English folk-rockers Levellers.
They are the newest additions to an already jampacked week of entertainment at the Royal Albert Hall. Multi award-winning collective Rudimental kick off the week of shows on 25th March with special guests including grime artist Ghetts. Following An Evening of Comedy on 25th, Take That take to the stage on 26th, Tom Grennan on 27th, alternative legends Doves the following day, and the pop/rock trio The Script on 30th March.
Money raised by these shows supports Teenage Cancer Trust, the only charity dedicated to making sure young people diagnosed with cancer get the expert treatment and personalised support they need.

Dreadzone are arguably one of the most energetic, exciting and powerful live bands to emerge from the post-rave scene. Dreadzone have steadily been releasing albums and refining their unique and inimitable take on dub since their inception in 1993. The band's 8th studio album Dread Times stormed into the Top 40 UK Official Album Charts on release in 2017 - the first time the band have charted in over 20 years. The album also made the Top 10 in the Indie and Dance charts. Still going strong after 25 years they have also long been considered one of the UK's best live bands and Beautiful Days festival favourites.

Devon family trio Wildwood Kin's sound is characterized by extraordinary harmonies. Their brilliant debut album, while influenced by their early folk leanings delved deeply into other genres and boasted inventive sonics and spectral atmospherics alongside their hypnotic three-part harmonies. Guitarist Emilie, her bouzouki/keyboard-playing sister Beth and their drumming cousin Meghann all sing, swapping leads and joining forces on harmonies. Most recently they have been in the studio working on their second album due out in May 2019.

Performing a classic DJ set spanning reggae, ska, punk and more is film-maker, broadcaster and founder member of Big Audio Dynamite Don Letts, who first spun reggae tunes between punk acts way back in the seventies. Don Letts' reputation has been firmly established in both the film and music world by a substantial body of work from the late 70s through the 80s, 90s and well into the millennium. He came to notoriety in the late 70s as the DJ that single-handedly turned a whole generation of punks onto reggae.

Levellers will end the night with a full electric set as part of the "A Beautiful Night Out", a one-day version of their award-winning grass roots festival Beautiful Days. Levellers have had 11 Top 40 albums, including a number one with 1995's Zeitgeist, and 14 Top 40 singles. Their landmark 1991 album, Levelling The Land, spent 38 weeks in the Top 100 album charts over a three year period. The band released We The Collective produced by John Leckie (Radiohead, The Stone Roses) in Spring 2018 which entered the Top 20 on release - the band's highest chart position for over 20 years. This very special show at the Royal Albert Hall follows the band's 30th anniversary celebrations this year.

Every penny Teenage Cancer Trust raises goes towards putting a spotlight on the thousands of young people living with cancer across the UK. The services provided treat people as individuals - the young person first and the cancer diagnosis second.

2019's impressive line-up adds to an extraordinary legacy that has seen unique, once in a lifetime performances like Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn performing together for the first time ever in 2013, Sir Paul McCartney in 2012, plus everyone from Muse to The Cure, Tinie Tempah, Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Kasabian, Stereophonics, Paul Weller, Olly Murs, Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, Sir Tom Jones and many more. And, of course, some of the greatest concerts of the past 20 years from The Who.
