Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23; Wolf Trap members (donors of $80 and up) have access to presales and are beginning to purchase tickets now.

- Summer season kicks off with three shows by The Avett Brothers, each night featuring new openers - resulting in three nights and three different concerts

Chart-topping artists across genres take the stage this summer - Sting, Kacey Musgraves, Jennifer Hudson with the National Symphony Orchestra, and Josh Groban

Several artists make their Wolf Trap debuts - including rock band Dispatch, Nickelodeon's JoJo Siwa, rockabilly group Stray Cats celebrating its 40th anniversary, R&B artists Bobby Brown + Bell Biv DeVoe, indie folk band Trampled by Turtles, and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has announced the first performances of Summer 2019 at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23; Wolf Trap members (donors of $80 and up) have access to presales and are beginning to purchase tickets now. As America's only national park for the performing arts, Wolf Trap is deeply committed to diversity in programming, access points for music lovers of all kinds, and affordability. The 16-week summer season at the 7,028-seat Filene Center is made possible through a public-private partnership between the nonprofit Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the National Park Service.

"The DC-area summer experience wouldn't be complete without concerts at Wolf Trap," said Arvind Manocha, president and CEO of Wolf Trap Foundation. Tickets for all announced performances go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. Opening day specials include $10 lawn and $20 rear orchestra seats for select performances including Gianandrea Noseda with the National Symphony Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre's Swan Lake, Caracalla Dance Theatre, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and The Barber of Seville.

Young at Arts, Wolf Trap's accessibility initiative which offers free youth tickets to select performing arts events, will continue in 2019. A roster of eligible performances will be announced on March 5, 2019.

Additional performances at the Filene Center and Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods will be announced in March.

Tickets for these performances go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 23 at 10 a.m.
