New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Pan-American recording artist Cienfue, alias of Camilo Navarro Quelquejeu, has premiered his new video for his electronic English-language debut titled "Life in the Tropics" available now in all digital platforms and retailers.

The mesmerizing kaleidoscopic video of "Life in the Tropics" - whose song was written, produced and performed by Cienfue himself - was influenced by "the Ayahuasca movement; 'Life in the Tropics' takes us on a psychedelic romp through the jungle. A significant Ayahuasca movement is happening right now where the shamans are leaving the jungles to awaken people to higher realms of consciousness and connection to the Earth," Cienfue explains.

The video for "Life in the Tropics" was directed by Anel Reyes Saldaña, and is the first single of a 13-song English album that will have monthly new single releases throughout 2019. The song was recorded at Strange Weather Studios Brooklyn by Daniel Schlett and mixed in Phil Vinall's Toy Factory Mexico by David Francis O'Gorman. It is set to have a remix release by Miami-based writer-producer and artist, ill Factor.

Cienfue is known for mixing Latin Roots with modern electric elements to create a sound dubbed "Tropical Psychedelia". Growing up in Panama in the 1980's under military rule, he was heavily influenced by a hip new television channel that only played music videos: MTV. In parallel with this, he also started arranging digital music on a state-of-the-art Macintosh Plus computer, experimenting with cassette tapes and learning electric guitar. He has already had international success on MTV, the BBC, Rolling Stone Magazine and has played massive festivals such as Rock al Parque (Colombia), Vive Latino (Mexico City), and shared the stage with artists like Juanes, Café Tacvba, Aterciopelados, Cultura Profética, and Zoé, to name a few.
