Mountain Man Performs NPR Tiny Desk Family Hour At SXSW
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As noted in the Nonesuch Journal last week, Mountain Man's time at the 2019 SXSW Music Conference in Austin included a show at South x San José at the Hotel San José and a set at the Central Presbyterian Church as part of NPR Music's SXSW Tiny Desk Family Hour, which All Songs Considered considers among the "'Wow' Moments from SXSW 2019." You can now watch the trio—Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, Molly Sarlé, and Amelia Meath—perform three songs from the set below: "AGT" from group's new album, Magic Ship; Sarlé's song "Human"; and "Grasses" by Daughter of Swords, the new solo project from Sauser-Monnig.

NPR's Stephen Thompson, in sharing this "softly joyful set," notes Mountain Man's "resplendent blend" and the "wonderful folk-pop songs" to come from Daughter of Swords. Read more at npr.org.
To pick up a copy of Magic Ship, head to your local independent record store, iTunes, Amazon, the Mountain Man Store. Magic Ship can also be heard on Spotify and Apple Music.
Mountain Man plays the second of two consecutive nights at Preservation Hall in New Orleans tonight and makes its way across the US this spring and summer. For details and tickets, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.
