OZY Media, the media company bringing "the new and the next" to the Change Generation, today announces the fourth annual OZY FEST will take place on the iconic Great Lawn in Central Park on Saturday, July 20th, and Sunday, July 21st. The unprecedented two-day event has been embraced by the City of New York as "New York City's answer to SXSW." OZY Fest 2019 is presented by Ally Financial, iHeart Media, Showtime & Well Being Trust. An eclectic festival of music, comedy, and ideas, OZY Fest brings together today's hottest musical artists, laugh-out-loud comedians, and some of the world's most esteemed leaders and innovators across politics, business, technology, the arts and more, engaging in conversation, performance and demonstration like never before. It's a new kind of festival that defies categorization; The New York Times called OZY Fest "part music festival, part TED talk, part food fair" and Thrillist proclaimed it "the only NYC summer festival you need to attend."

Offering intellectual provocation and edgy comedy alongside peak-summer sets from some of music's hottest acts, this year's lineup includes music from John Legend, Miguel, Jazzy Amra and ARIZONA, discussions with Stacey Abrams and Gov. John Kasich, stand-up from Trevor Noah, Dulcé Sloan and Ronny Chieng; talks from Malcolm Gladwell, Deepak Chopra, and Spike Lee; big thoughts from business leaders Mark Cuban, Cindy Eckert, Thasunda Duckett and Marc Lasry; unbelievable food from Marcus Samuelsson, Padma Lakshmi, Rachael Ray, and many more to be announced. The Festival will be co-hosted by OZY co-founder Carlos Watson and 14-time MLB All-star and Entrepreneur Alex Rodriguez.

OZY Fest 2018 attracted over 20,000 guests who danced to the music of Common, Passion Pit, Young the Giant and Grouplove, laughed with Michele Wolf, Chelsea Handler and Hasan Minhaj, ate with Marcus Samuelsson and Roy Choi, and had their minds blown with thought provoking ideas from Malcolm Gladwell, Hillary Clinton, Karl Rove and many more. Previous OZY Fests included Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, Samantha Bee, Issa Rae, Jason Derulo, Katie Couric, Sen. Cory Booker, Jeb Bush, Eddie Huang and many more.
