Adia Victoria Announces Show At Garcia's At The Capitol Theatre On July 29, 2019
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising gothic-blues artist Adia Victoria just announced her upcoming show at Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre on Monday, July 29 at 8PM, presented by 107.1 The Peak. Come see the rural-south native making "blues dangerous again" (New York Times). Tickets are available here:

In February, Adia Victoria released the critically acclaimed LP 'Silences' (Canvasback), and the momentum has been strong ever since. On release day, she and her band embarked on the Dope Queen Tour, playing to audiences across North America, and April saw her do the same in the UK and Europe. Adia opened for Tank & The Bangas, The National, and Calexico + Iron & Wine and is now back stateside, touring the U.S. with stops at WXPN's NON-COMM convention in Philadelphia and Boston Calling, along with an upcoming performance at Newport Folk Festival. "Adia Victoria captures the spirit of the blues in a simple phrase," said NPR: "black genius."

'Silences' was recorded with Aaron Dessner (The National) at his studio in upstate New York. Throughout the album's 12 tracks, Victoria covers mental illness, drug addiction, sexism and all the elements that consume the day-to-day lives of women attempting to make worlds of their own.

July 26 - Newport, RI - Newport Folk Festival
July 27 - North Adams, MA - Mass MoCA
July 29 - Port Chester, NY - Garcia's at the Capitol Theatre
