Freya Ridings' Self-Titled Debut Album Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Freya Ridings became the surprise success story of 2018 with her breakthrough platinum-selling hit "Lost Without You" - she was tipped by everyone from Taylor Swift to Florence Welch and Richard Quinn. A once-in-a-lifetime song that immediately put Freya on the map, it hit the Top 10 on seven separate occasions during a six-month run in the Top 40 and is now approaching 200 million streams.

Last week, Freya Ridings shared the video for her new single "Castles" - WATCH HERE. Directed by Isaac Rice (Iggy Azalea, Little Mix) - the video was filmed in several locations around London. The single is currently playlisted at Radio 1, Radio 2, Virgin Radio and Heart. Freya was invited back into Radio 1 for a second live lounge this week where she performed "Castles" and a cover of Taylor Swift's "Me!" - WATCH HERE.

While "Lost Without You" established Freya's rising star status, it was the strength of her live shows that first earned her a word-of-mouth fanbase - as captured in her early live recordings 'Live At Omeara' and 'Live At St. Pancras Old Church'. Every tour has seen Freya rise to play bigger venues, most recently with a sold-out London show at The Roundhouse. Last month, Freya also announced details of her biggest UK tour to date. It will see her play to a combined audience of over 23,000 people, including over 5000 in London when she takes to the stage at the Eventim Apollo. This fall, she will return to North America for a string of tour dates supporting Hozier, including a show at the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 25. Full routing can be found below, and tickets are available HERE.

In addition to the headline tour and recent performances at Glastonbury and Isle of Wight - Freya still has a busy summer of major festival dates ahead of her including Latitude (July 19th), the BBC Summer Social (August 3rd), Wilderness Festival (August 4th) and Electric Picnic (August 31st).
Freya's debut album is now available to order and features previous singles "Lost Without You," "You Mean The World To Me," "Blackout" and new single "Castles." Plus there are new recordings of tracks "Poison" and "Elephant" and brand new material including live-favourite "Holy Water" and "Still Have You."

Freya wrote all of the twelve songs that feature on the album which underpins her world class credentials as a songwriter. In an era in which hits are inevitably written by committee, "Lost Without You" saw Freya become the first female artist to have an entirely self-written Top 10 hit since Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" returned to the charts in 2012.

It explores themes of doubt, pain, regret and vulnerability within songs of alchemical incandescence. Freya's extraordinary, vibrato-rich voice elevates them into her greatness - a vocal gift that's undoubtedly one of the most powerful voices of her generation.
