New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Mountain Man has brought its first US tour in six years, featuring music from its new album, Magic Ship, to a close. While on tour, the trio—Amelia Meath, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, and Molly Sarlé—performed in concert at Saturn in Birmingham, Alabama, which was captured by Alabama Public Television for the program Subcarrier. You can now watch the full thirty-minute episode below:
"Mountain Man blends complex harmonies and delivers a melodic experience equal parts peaceful and powerful," says the show. "Three voices, a potent dose of musical chemistry, (and sometimes a guitar for good measure), coalesce in this extraordinary performance."
The band has one more concert head, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, North Carolina, with Mandolin Orange. Daughter of Swords, the solo project from Mountain Man's Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, is on tour through the rest of the summer and into the fall, including dates on Sarlé's solo tour and with Meath's band Sylvan Esso.
