SMO To Release "This One's For You" Album August 23, 2019
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "This One's For You," the new 12-track album by homegrown Tennessee artist and reality TV star SMO, is set to drop August 23, 2019 via Average Joes Entertainment. Pre-order and pre-save the new album here and instantly get the first single, "Boss 2.0." Check out the trailer for the new video, "Boss 2.0," on SMO's YouTube channel here.
Produced by David Ray of Dammit Boy Entertainment, Eric "WeeWee" Flemming and DJ Orig, "This One's For You," is 100-proof, old-school SMO. Leading with the track, "Boss 2.0," SMO's goal with the new record was to make something "legendary" for his fans. SMO co-wrote all 12 tracks on the album.

From the country-rap banger "Tear Da Mud Up," featuring DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, to the prideful anthem, "How I Roll," f/Colt Ford and David Ray, to SMO's cannabis journey on "Colorado Bound" f/Afroman, the new album delivers SMO's signature sound for every fan. Essential playlist songs also include the outdoorsman's ode to hunting, "Bone Splitta," featuring Cypress Spring and D-Ray, and the title track, "This One's For You."
"As always, I have handcrafted a buffet of backwood adventures and life lessons for my kinfoke to enjoy," said SMO. "This album is a true representation of where I am in life as a man, a father, a son, and a leader for my people."
SMO's autobiography, "MY LIFE IN A JAR: The Book of SMO" also hits Amazon.com at the end of the summer from publisher Baker & Taylor, with the e-book dropping August 22, and the hard-cover hitting stores in early September. Co-written with award-winning music biographer Jake Brown (Nashville Songwriter, Heart, Joe Satriani), Smo will release the audiobook version by the end of the year. Go to www.TheBookofSmo.com to pre-order a copy "MY LIFE IN A JAR: The Book of SMO."

Smo's career in music and television spans more than a decade. He starred in the self-titled reality television series "Big Smo" on A&E. Other television appearances include Spike TV's "Bar Rescue" and CarbonTV's "Heartlandia." Smo's most recent album, "Special Reserve," was independently released in 2018.
