Prog Rock Icons Crack The Sky To Headline One Of The Largest Benefit Concerts For US Veterans This Fall
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Prominent prog rockers Crack The Sky, who Rolling Stone named to its list of "50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums Of All Time," will be joining some of Baltimore's best bands for the 5th Anniversary Veteran Benefit Concert at The Maryland State Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall on Saturday, September 7.

Organized by Music Healing Heroes, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide quality music to disabled veterans and raise funds and awareness for veteran charities and organizations, the all-star concert will also feature performances by Midnite Run, The Dave DeMarco Band, and Going For The One (Yes tribute).

The show will benefit two Baltimore veteran organizations - The Baltimore Station and Warrior Canine Connection. The Baltimore Station is an innovative therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency and Warrior Canine Connection is dedicated to providing service canines to vets suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or military trauma as a result of military service.

"The Veteran Concert is our way of giving back supporting those who protect us everyday," said Larry Goren, Music Healing Heroes CEO and guitarist for Midnite Run. "We remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and support their families through the gift of music."

In addition to the musical lineup, The 5th Annual Veterans Benefit Concert will also feature beer, wine and food from local vendors.

The event kicks off at 6 PM and will be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds (Exhibition Hall, 2200 York Ave, Timonium, MD). Tickets are on sale now and range from $35-$55. They areavailable at https://www.mt.cm/5th-annual-veterans-benefit.
