BAY CITY, MI. (Sciax Corp./ www.sciax.com) - Sciax Corp. RMD announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Inversus Records for all of its music releases in its dance division, widely regarded as one of the top dance music distributors in the country. "We are very pleased to be involved with Inversus Records. Their track record is rock solid and they already distribute the top dance record labels in the world and here in the US," said KC Flightt, head of RMD's Dance Music Division. "We plan on doing our first release with them over the next 90 days and plan on a very aggressive schedule of one release every six weeks during the fiscal year." RMD had previously announced distribution deals with digital giants: iTunes, Sony, MSN, Napster and Rhapsody, facilitated by Ioda Digital Alliance for digital distribution. The combination of iPod and other digital music players has created a formidable revenue source for music companies around the world. "The agreement with Inversus records further strengthens RMD Dance Inc. distribution channels and complements those already in place," stated KC Flightt. As previously announced, Sciax and RMD have signed a letter of intent for Sciax to acquire RMD Dance Inc. and this acquisition is expected to be completed in the near future. "This news from RMD Dance Inc. shows continued progress and is representative of the anticipated contribution to Sciax Corp. diversification efforts that RMD represents," stated Nitin Amersey, Chairman of Sciax.
