New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, K-pop supergroup and worldwide phenomenon, Monsta X, announce they will be the first K-Pop Idol Boy Group to perform at a major U.S. Festival. The band will be joining the lineup alongside highly respected names, such as Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Billie Eilish, Zedd, Janelle Monáe, and many more. Tickets on sale now→

During that same weekend in Las Vegas, Monsta X will continue to make history as the first K-Pop Group to perform at iHeart Radio's Music Festival. You can catch them alongside Steve Aoki on the Nighttime Stage Friday September 20th, and on the Daytime Stage Saturday September 21st.

The band recently wrapped up their U.S. World Tour Takeover, with a sold out date at Staples Center, along with appearances on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and a performance on the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. After signing with Epic Records earlier this year, "WHO DO U LOVE?" [feat. French Montana] has been taking Top 40 Radio by storm. Billboard stated; "Monsta X make their debut on Billboard's Pop Songs airplay chart this week as "Who Do U Love?" featuring French Montana enters at No. 39. This marks just the second-ever Korean group, and third-ever K-pop act, to enter the Top 40 radio chart." The song has currently "climbed to a new peak of No. 35," as stated by Forbes.

Since its release, the single has been praised by MTV who claimed, "they've got the hunger and the talent, and now they've finally got the song," while Consequence Of Sound hailed the track stating; "The song sees Monsta X grooving in their R&B side, all undulating synths and snappy rhythms. It's a perfect bed for the boys' smooth, steamy harmonies, which contrast nicely with French Montana's few cameo bars on the bridge." Billboard also referred to it as "The Song That Could Finally Deliver a K-Pop Group To The Masses."

With more music and touring on the horizon, the Monsta X phenomenon continues to grow globally.

Inventively fusing K-Pop, wild hip-hop, rock energy, and universal pop power, Monsta X set the tone for the international sound. Averaging over 2.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the group boast a catalog of smashes, including "HERO" [34 million Spotify streams], "DRAMARAMA" [27 million Spotify streams], and "Beautiful" [22 million Spotify streams]. Most recently, their 2019 Steve Aoki collaboration, "Play It Cool," put up over 18 million Spotify streams and staked out a spot on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart. Entertainment Tonight praised it, and Idolator described it as "a feast for the eyes and ears, and a reminder why Monsta X is one of the hottest acts on the planet right now."

Their latest offering, Take.2 We Are Here, bowed at #5 on the Billboard top World Albums Chart and garnered acclaim from Complex, Idolator, Billboard, Cosmopolitan, and NME. Paper Magazine put it best though, "You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that Monsta X's darkly textured but nonetheless high-energy music is the reason why they stand apart from other acts in the vibrant and constantly expanding K-Pop scene." Not to mention, they also peaked at #4 on the coveted Social 50.

With new music on the way, the group makes history this fall as "the first K-pop group at the iHeartRadioMusic festival in Las Vegas" on September 21, 2019.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL was born in 2013 as part of the major transformation of Downtown Las Vegas. During the three-day festival, premier musical acts, experiential artists, comedians, thinkers and culinary talent flow into the urban streets of DTLV, in addition to the festival's 175,000 attendees. What started as an event has become something more: a symbol of connection, joy and creativity. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL continues to be driven by its core mission to create a holistic experience which aids in positive community transformation and individual empowerment by collectivizing and inspiring through shared experiences driven by art and culture.
