Moonchild Release Fourth Effort Little Ghost, New Single "What You're Doing"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Soulful LA-based three piece Moonchild release their latest effort Little Ghost via Entertainment One ("eOne"). The much-anticipated follow-up to 2017's Voyager sees the group breeze through sweltering reflections on desire by way of dreamy vocals and amplified alternative R&B distortions. The release is accompanied by groovy new single "What You're Doing."

Little Ghost is a balancing act between modern funk ("Wise Women", "Onto Me") and the upper echelons of soul ("Too Much to Ask", "The Other Side"). With the trio in top form, long-time listeners will find something to sink their teeth into while new fans will unearth a treasure trove of an experimental R&B record tailor-made for the modern age. In context of the record, "What You're Doing" continues with a romance that is so palpable in sound. It adds the quiet tremor of an electric keyboard that speaks to the lyrics - expounding a surrender to big emotion.

Moonchild will play their new material on a headlining U.S. fall tour. After a year of performing at festivals worldwide and on tours with modern jazz heavyweight Kamasi Washington and alt-R&B luminaries The Internet, the 30+ date run will take them across the country hitting stages in major cities, from Brooklyn Bowl in New York City to the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.

Moonchild have released three albums of sensual, beat-driven R&B saturated with electronic flourish. The group's last record Voyager was included in NPR's shortlist of "5 R&B Albums You Slept On in 2017" and garnered them comparisons to the likes of Little Dragon and Hiatus Kaiyote. The trio has sold out venues across the world and toured with modern neo-soul masters. From Jill Scott and Robert Glasper to Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei and PJ Morton, the eclectic triad cement their prestige and place amongst the genre's brightest stars of the moment.

Billboard calls the group "a true live force" and delves into their history and diverse musical influences. Read more via Billboard: https://bit.ly/2kkQVWW

Past releases garnered press and online praise from The Fader, NPR Music, Okayplayer, KCRW, Echoes Magazine, Kick Mag, and Soulbounce, with Voyagerracking up 45 million streams on Spotify and the visuals for single "The List" gathering 7+ million views on YouTube.
