ABOUT DOEMAN:
Houston rapper, Joseph "Doeman" Gonzales has already experienced a large amount of success within Houston's hip-hop scene. Born and raised in Southeast Houston, Doeman's flows are largely about his experiences as a Mexican-American man. It is no surprise then, that, his lyrics focus less on typical hip-hop subjects such as women and material possessions and focus more on social statement and current events. The selp-proclaimed "Barrio God", grew up listening to soul music and classic Motown signature sounds. But his street ear was influenced by the 90's rap greats, such as 2Pac, Will Smith and Big Pun, just to name a few. Socially, Doeman loos up to Cesar Chavez and Malcolm X. Doeman's influences are displayed through his musical choices in terms of lyricism, cadence and musicality.

Since his debut in 2014, Doeman has released four full length projects, (1) mixtape, (1) EP and over a dozen music videos. He has been a staple artist on the SXSW stages for the last few years. He graced the 2019 stage at the SXSW Takeover, he has also graced the Rolling Loud LA stage and the Don't Come to LA stage. Doeman's most successful single to date was "Southside Kings" featuring Maxo Kream and was followed by the "4015 Lamar" EP. In the coming months, Doeman will be releasing a new EP, produced by Los Angeles based producer, Cypress Moreno and gearing up for the release of the "Barrio God II" album.or=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true">
