New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chris Thile gave a thirty-minute solo set at the Fine Line in Minneapolis in August as part of the MicroShow series from Minnesota Public Radio's The Current that can now be seen on Top40-Charts.com! The set includes solo mandolin and vocal takes on "My Oh My," from Punch Brothers' album The Phosphorescent Blues; "Attaboy," from The Goat Rodeo Sessions; Radiohead's "True Love Waits"; a Song of the Week from his public radio show Live From Here called "Dionysus"; music from a Bach violin partita; and the traditional tune "Rabbit In The Log," from his 2011 album with guitarist Michael Daves, Sleep with One Eye Open.

Chris Thile performs at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati this Wednesday then returns to New York City to host Live From Here from its new home, The Town Hall. Musical guests in the coming weeks include They Might Be Giants, Pixies, Paul Simon, Sara Bareilles, Anaïs Mitchell, Big Thief, Crooked Still, Aoife O'Donovan, and Sarah Jarosz. Thile returns to the road on his solo tour in January.
