New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Marshmello's epic new single, "Tongue Tied" with YUNGBLUD & blackbear, was released today by Joytime Collective/ Geffen Records/ Universal Music. Marshmello, YUNGBLUD and blackbear are on today's cover of Apple Music's New Music Daily Playlist. Zane Lowe debuted the track today on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio.

The official video for "Tongue Tied" immerses viewers in a dystopian reality where a militarized police force, dubbed Silencers, takes any means necessary to mute the outspoken members of society. Directed by Christian Breslauer and shot in Los Angeles, the powerful short film features Emmy nominee Joey King ("The Act," "Life in Pieces," "The Kissing Booth") alongside Marshmello, YUNGBLUD and blackbear.

Marshmello's star continues to rise as the famously masked artist breaks boundaries across the industry. With chart-topping singles and collaborations with the likes of Bastille, Selena Gomez, Migos, Khalid, Logic, Kane Brown, and more, Marshmello has clocked a staggering 2+ billion streams across Spotify alone.
His smash hit single "Happier" with Bastille topped the charts around the world, with cumulative streams nearing one billion. His hit "FRIENDS" with Anne-Marie - certified 2x Platinum in the U.S. and U.K. and 4x Platinum in Canada - ranked #1 on iTunes and Shazam's worldwide charts, with over 1 billion overall streams. Certified 5x Platinum in the U.S., "Happier" held the No. 1 position for three consecutive weeks on Billboard's BDS and Mediabase/Top 40 Radio Airplay chart. The song holds the record for longest time atop Billboard's Dance/Electronic Hot 100 chart - 60 weeks and counting. In October 2019, Marshmello and Kane Brown topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at #1 with "One Thing Right." 2017's "Wolves" ft. Selena Gomez, also platinum, peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and #5 at Top 40 radio.

Marshmello earned his third No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with his latest album, Joytime III. Featured on the cover of Forbes' "30 Under 30" issues, he has won an American Music Award and an MTV EMA and is nominated for six iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Since exploding onto the scene with his 2018 debut album 21st Century Liability (Locomotion / Geffen Records), YUNGBLUD has traveled the globe and brought his rebel-minded, hip-hop infused rock-and-roll to an ever-growing legion of fans. In the midst of his nonstop touring, the London-based artist has built a one-of-a-kind bond with his young audience - a deeply felt solidarity that served as a major touchstone for his new six-track EP, the underrated youth, which includes lead single "original me," a collaboration with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds plus "hope for the underrated youth" and "parents." Cumulative global streams of YUNGBLUD's songs now exceeds 699 million. YUNGBLUD recently wrapped a North American sold-out headline tour and is currently on his UK/European headline run.

Born Matthew Musto, blackbear put out three independent albums (2015's Deadroses and Help and 2017's digital druglord) prior to cybersex (2017) and ANONYMOUS (2019). In addition, he released a self-titled album with his hip-hop duo mansionz in early 2017. Featured on the certified-Gold digital druglord, "do re mi" became blackbear's first single to crack the Billboard Hot 100; the track has since gone double-Platinum. A remix of "do re mi" featuring Gucci Mane was released in July 2017 and reached No. 5 at Rhythmic and No. 26 at Top 40 radio. Meanwhile, its video has racked up more than 102 million views on YouTube. Aside from his own prolific output of singles and EPs, blackbear has worked with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas, Childish Gambino, Linkin Park, and - most notably - Justin Bieber, for whom he co-wrote the 6x Platinum single "Boyfriend." He released his latest single "hot girl bummer" in August 2019. Now certified Gold, the track continues to climb the charts, making it his most successful since "do re mi."
