Jacob Collier Collaborates With Coldplay, Duets With Daniel Caesar And Receives Two Grammy Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) It was announced this week that two tracks from 25-year-old UK singer and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier's new Djesse project have been nominated for Grammy Awards. Having won two Grammys for his debut album, In My Room in 2017, Collier now boasts a nomination for all three albums he has released. Collier received nominations in the Best Arrangement category for his arrangements of "All Night Long", which appears on Djesse Vol. 1, and "Moon River", from Djesse Vol. 2. Volumes three and four of the Djesse project are to be released in 2020.

The first single to be released from Djesse Vol. 3 will be a duet with Canadian R&B star Daniel Caesar. Having contributed vocals to Caesar's track "Restore The Feeling", and following various live collaborations - including at Collier's show in Canada this summer and Caesar's show at Brixton Academy last month - the two joined forces to pen a soul and jazz-tinged track, which will be released next Friday November 29th.

Collier has also been working with Coldplay and contributed vocals to three songs of the band's long-awaited new album Everyday Life, which is released today. Collier appears on the tracks "Church", "Cry, Cry, Cry" and "Everyday Life".
Following sold out shows across the world in 2019, a fresh run of international dates has been announced including Collier's biggest UK headline show to date at The Roundhouse in London on April 7th 2020.

Currently halfway complete, Djesse is a four-album expedition through sonic space and style. The intimate and intricate acoustics of Djesse Vol. 2 fit perfectly behind NPR's Tiny Desk, while the orchestral scope of Djesse Vol. 1 had all of Toronto's sold-out Opera House harmonising with him. Djesse Vol. 3 (Hajanga/Decca/Geffen) is due out in the coming months, and - like Vol. 2's collaborations with JoJo, Lianne La Havas, Chris Thile, Steve Vai, a cover of 'Moon River' with a chorus of Chris Martin, Ty Dolla $ign, Tori Kelly, and some 140 others - exciting guests and astonishing feats are ensured.
