The Man Who Reissue Bet On You EP, Adding Two New Tracks, "Rio Grande" And "U"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, alt-rock trio The Man Who unveiled two new songs, which can be found on their newly reissued EP, Bet On You. Fresh off the release of the official video for "Natural Villain," a noirish tale in which everyone's motivations are questionable, the band explores brighter territory on the euphoric "Rio Grande" while the epic, atmospheric "U" explores love with guarded optimism.

Reflecting on the two additional tracks, David Walsh, lead vocalist for The Man Who, says, "'Rio Grande' and 'U' were both produced alongside Tawgs Salter during the very same sessions that created our singles 'Natural Villain' and 'Down.' The songs instinctively compliment the rest of the EP and allow us the opportunity to offer an even more comprehensive collection of music to our fans around the world."

The Toronto-based band will perform at School Night at Bardot in Hollywood, CA on Monday, December 9. The Man Who has been supporting BANNERS on his North American tour. The second leg kicks off on November 28 at The Mansion in Kingston, ON. Tickets are on sale now at https://themanwhoband.com. See below for itinerary.

Clash premiered the EP's title track, "Bet On You," praising the band's "crisp songwriting with a blackened edge" while Hillydilly extolled the "singable hooks and perfect, grandiose tones" of "This High." Elicit Magazine praised the "smart, cutting lyricism and all the growl of 'Natural Villain.'" Music Connection said, "Bristling with a sense of foreboding, the track showcases the hypnotic contrast at the heart of their music - an infinite tension between bright and dark, raw vulnerability and quiet mystique." See below for track listing.

Comprising David Walsh (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chad Walsh (bass/electric guitar, keyboards, background vocals) and Frank Goerz (drums), The Man Who takes its name from a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote, "The world makes way for the man who knows where he's going." The Man Who traces its roots back to 2015, when a tour took Toronto-based Chad Walsh to Newfoundland, where he re-connected with his cousin, David Walsh, who was also a musician. The two began a long-distance collaboration, experimenting with vintage synthesizers and throwback hip-hop drum loops. David eventually moved to Toronto, where the two cousins recruited drummer Frank Goerz. Across all of their songs, The Man Who has already racked up more than 15 million global streams. The band has an average of 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
