HOUSTON, TEXAS (SugarHill Studios/ www.sugarhillstudios.com) – The annual Rockin for Rise concert is finally here! The benefit concert will take place at The Meridian on Saturday, May 21st at 2:15pm where Stillframe, winners of the Rockin for Rise 'Battle of the Bands' that took place in March this year, will be performing along with a host of some of the best local and regional acts.
In addition to the coveted performance slot at Rockin for Rise, Stillframe will also be receiving free recording time at the legendary SugarHill Recording Studios, who are one of the co-sponsors of the event. SugarHill's Staff Engineer Leigh Crain, will be recording their project.
Rockin for Rise is an annual benefit music concert that is organized by The Rise School of Houston; a non-profit organization for pre-school children with Downs Syndrome and other disabilities. The event will feature more than 20 bands, performing throughout the day on two stages and 100% of the all proceeds from the event will benefit The Rise School of Houston.
