Yola Wins UK Americana Awards For Artist, Album Of The Year
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Congratulations to Yola, who has won both UK Americana Awards for which she was nominated: UK Artist of the Year and UK Album of the Year for her Dan Auerbach-produced solo debut album, Walk Through Fire. Yola also performs on the self-titled album from the supergroup Highwomen, which won the award for International Album of the Year. The winners were announced at the fifth-annual UK Americana Awards ceremony at Troxy in London tonight.

Yola and her fellow Highwomen were unable to take part in tonight's festivities, as they are in Mexico for Brandi Carlile's Girls Just Wanna Weekend 2 with Lake Street Dive and others. It was just announced that Yola will join Chris Stapleton as his special guest on tour this spring and fall. Her Austin City Limits debut taping next Wednesday, February 4, will stream live here.

The deluxe digital edition of Walk Through Fire, including Yola's cover of Elton John's classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and a new song, "I Don't Wanna Lie," is available to download in the Top40-Charts.com Store, iTunes, and Amazon, and is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
