New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, LA cosmic country duo Mapache - whose Yep Roc Records debut From Liberty Street, out March 20, has been called "medicine for the soul" in a 5-star review in Shindig - release the video for the "angelic" (FLOOD) new song "Between The Lines." The video, directed by Nicole Hawkins, features the duo walking a dog through New Orleans as their impeccable harmonies ring out. Watch over at FLOOD: https://bit.ly/337DxHF

Mapache have also announced a headlining tour, which includes a special LA release show on March 12th at TAIX - a nearly 100 year-old French restaurant located just steps from the Liberty Street studio where the album was recorded - as well as dates in Brooklyn, DC, Toronto, Nashville, and so much more. Full dates below, tickets here: https://www.mapachesounds.com/

Listen to "Life On Fire," which was named one of NPR's 10 Songs Public Radio Can't Stop Playing — NPR praises its "charmingly loose-yet-deliberate groove, so strong you can basically hear the sunshine." Listen here: https://youtu.be/-wLquILK0XY

When you first hear Mapache, it's apparent that they excel at cosmic country western music featuring high lonesome harmonies, dueling acoustic guitars, and a vibe that's more-or-less perfect for a David Lynch film. But dig deeper into the new album from the "blazed-up Everly Brothers" (Aquarium Drunkard) and you'll find even more: Mexican boleros, Hawaiian-steeped surf, Bakersfield twang, and gospel-indebted campfire tunes.
Keep an eye out for more from Mapache.
