Rapper Chynna Rogers Passes Away Suddenly At 25 Years Of Age
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chynna Rogers, a rapper and model who performed with A$AP Rocky's hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, has died at the age of 25.
On Wednesday night (April 8) Chynna's manager confirmed her death earlier today. "I can regrettably confirm Chynna passed away," her manager John Miller wrote in an email. Her family says, "Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed."
At this point the circumstances surrounding Chynna's purported death are unclear.

Chynna, whom XXL interviewed for The Break in 2017, was a dynamic artist who found fame as both a rapper and model during her lifetime. Her most recent project, in case i die first, arrived in 2019. The four-track effort features dark, menacing production supporting her brooding rhymes. "Shit don't last forever, do it?/Shit ain't 'bout forever, is it doe?/I'm just sad you didn't get it doe," she raps on "ASMR." Since 2016, she's kept the momentum going with projects Ninety, music 2 die 2 (2017) and I'm Not Here. This Isn't Happening (2018).

The news has shocked the hip-hop world, which has seen the deaths of several young rappers in recent years, including Juice WRLD, who died in December of an accidental drug overdose at 21, and A$AP Yams, one of Rogers' mentors, who died at 26 in 2015 of accidental drug intoxication.

Kehlani and A$AP Mob are among those to pay tribute to Rogers.
"Chynna you were f***in hilarious bro," wrote Kehlani on Twitter. "Today was our last exchange of jokes & those i will miss the most. I can't believe it idk how to. i love you. so very much. my heart is officially iced."
A$AP Mob added: "REST EASY CHYNNA. WE GON MISS U SIS."
"Anyone that ever was blessed enough to have met or been around chynna knew how pure of a soul she was," said Lil Debbie. "Loving, giving, humble, talented, an amazing human being. What a sad f***ing day.
