New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Melbourne's upstart young rap collective 66Records has released "Blessings" featuring original member Lil Jaye. The ethereal, piano-driven track is the label's second of several upcoming international releases following their worldwide deal with Warner Music Australia. While last week's "Devil Persona" also featured Lil Jaye and showed off the frantic and distinct styles of other 66Records members BBG Smokey, Eco$ystem, and BabyT with a raw, almost pop-punk take on rap, the more introspective "Blessings" highlights one of 66Records' founding members as his own force to be reckon with. The song is a melodic and tender ode to the sounds of Atlanta trap, mixed with Lil Jaye's soulful flow and his French influences. It was produced by Kyle Gee and is accompanied by an interplanetary visualizer by Pixel Frame.

Lil Jaye is of mixed ethnicity with a French upbringing, with strong melodic instincts that'll appeal to any music lover. Jaye's debut track landed in the top 30 of Australia's Spotify Viral 50 shortly after release in late September this year.

66Records (Sixty Six Records aka Double 6) is the young Melbourne rap collective born in the basement of a suburban housing project and founded by John Nelson and Abraham Poni. Already known for their feverish live performances, this boutique hip-hop label and grassroots collective focuses on raising up young urban artists of minority ethnicities and are resolved to provide a space where artists can work towards futures beyond prejudice.

The label's next track, "Hop Out (Ft. Eco$ystem)," will be released May 1, as each next release will highlight a different 66Records member. The 66Records collective has been selected to open the Australian NLE Choppa and Famous Dexx tour, and 66Records member Eco$ystem joined Juice Wrld on his 2019 Australian tour.
