New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Her rock influences are evident on her latest release, a cover of The Beatles'"Come Together."Her voice adds soul and sensuality to the classic hit, while the drums and electric guitars give it a heavier vibe."- Audiofemme
From the St. Louis theater community to Cirque De Soleil to Broadway to The Voice (twice) and live stream performances alongside John Legend, Camilla Cabello and Common - NYC based singer Lisa Ramey has shown that the only thing with a bigger range than her exceptional voice is the opportunities it has afforded her.

A successful debut album Surrender (March 2020) segued into her latest release - a guitar drenched, slow burn version of The Beatles classic "Come Together". Produced by Frank Cogliano (Soundcat Productions), this iteration of the song showcases Ramey's unique blend of soul, pop and rock influences underscored by a blues tinged sensuality. "I was going for an update on a psychedelic sound but with a darker edge that makes more sense in the current era. It matches the vibe that we were going for with Lisa on her debut album". says Cogliano.

Ramey is using "Come Together" as a reminder in light of recent events to combat hate with love, but from a position of strength rather than pacifism."The fight's not over," she says. "I'm amongst it and I'm with it and I'm here for it and I'm screaming at everyone. And I'm using The Beatles to help me out."

The video was shot entirely on an iPhone due to the restrictions from COVID-19, which makes it all the more impressive as an eye catching visual partner to the song. Ramey adds her signature edgy touch as she sings in a leather jacket and boots, pole-dances, and lounges on her bed, pouring over angel cards.

The inspiration for the video, like many works of art as of late, was the coronavirus quarantine. Specifically, it was meant to depict "someone going crazy when they're going through quarantine," says Ramey. "When I'm wearing white, it's like I'm losing my mind, and when I'm wearing black, it's like this sexy subversion. Then, it just turned into this hot video. I'm a strong sexy black female and I ain't got anything to hide."
"Come Together" is available for purchase now on all streaming platforms, alongside her debut full length album Surrender.
