New York, NY (Top40 Charts) MTS Management Group is happy to announce the signing of Christian Neo-Soul/Jazz singer-songwriter HeIsTheArtist to their Publicity and Promotions roster. Inspired to release Christian music after hearing a sermon by Bishop TD Jakes, HeIsTheArtist cites influences including Prince, Chaka Khan, Sade, Maxwell, and D'Angelo. His latest single, "Boom (Remastered)" topped both the iTunes Christian and All Genre Songs charts in South Africa.

"As soon as I heard that voice and delivery, I knew we had something special here," said Michael Stover of MTS. "HeIsTheArtist is as 'out of the box' as you can get when it comes to Christian r&b music. He definitely doesn't fit the mold..that's why I loved it! With the immediate success of "Boom" on the charts, I'd say we've got something that the world wants to hear."

Hailing from Central Islip, NY and formerly signed under his birth name, LeeMann Bassey recorded and released secular r&b and dance music for Bentley Records.
