Born in Buffalo, NY to a family of musicians and barbers, the 34-year-old Nashville-based singer/songwriter Scibilia showcases his expansive musical ability on his new album 'Seed of Joy,' Serving as his own producer, Scibilia leans into the spontaneity and singularity of live performance, after spending years collaborating with rappers among the likes of Jim Jones, Rick Ross, and Fabolous
and electronic artists such as German DJ Robin
Schulz. On writing the record, Marc says, "I wanted the record to feel as raw sonically as it was emotionally" and he highlights that throughout the album on stripped tracks like the Simon
& Garfunkel inspired "Good Times
" and the hypnotic album opener "Wild World." 'Seed of Joy' is Scibilia's first new album in four years.
