A Look At Gambling Celebrities
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) No one would dare to contest the notion that many celebrities are big risk takers. That apparently isn't lost on some celebrities who enjoy taking some of their "extra wealth" and heading out for a night of gambling.

When looking at the list of celebrities who are known to gamble on a regular basis, there are names that might surprise fans. Let's take a look at 10 celebrities who have a reputation for throwing around big numbers in a poker room or casino like Gclub.

Pamela Sue Anderson - It turns out that America's favourite blonde bombshell from the 1980s and 90s has a real penchant for slots. From time to time, the Baywatch star can also be found in poker rooms throughout the world.

Ben Affleck - Ben's reputation as a gambler is known throughout the world. His games of choice are blackjack and poker. In one notable incident, Ben won $800,000 playing blackjack in a Las Vegas casino. After the casino determined he had been card-counting his way to the fortune, he ended up being permanently blacklisted from the casino.

George Clooney - As Danny Ocean from the Ocean's series, Clooney is no stranger to hanging around in casinos. His interest in gambling eventually led him to invest as much as $7.0 million in the construction of a hotel and casino property. Unfortunately, his alleged gambling addiction might have led to the breakup of his very public relationship with Elisabetta Canalis.

Cameron Diaz - After shooting more than a few scenes in casino environments, Ms Diaz eventually got the gambling bug. Her game of choice is poker. While admitting that her gambling eventually became an addiction, she now plays with the intent of giving her winnings to charity.

Matt Damon - During the shooting of "Rounder's" in 1998, Damon may have looked like a natural poker player. Indeed, the co-star in all three Ocean's movies has played in more than his fair share of major professional poker tournaments.

Michael Jordon - The NBA's G.O.A.T. also fancies himself to be a good golfer. In fact, he fancied himself enough of a golfer that it was rumoured he would regularly wager hundreds of thousands of dollars on the links. Rumours have it his gambling problem may have played a part in his decision to retire in 2003.

Toby MaGuire - Rumours have it that Toby is always looking for a good poker game. If he isn't participating in a major professional tournament, he has been known to allegedly participant in big stakes underground pokers games.

Ray Romana - Sometimes, art imitates life. In a touching moment, Romana once revealed that his role as Joe Tranelli in Men of a Certain Age was based on his own struggles with a gambling addiction.

Charlie Sheen - Throughout his career, Sheen has been no stranger to controversy. His inclusion on a list of people who love to gambler should surprise no one. Ex-wife Denise Richards once claimed that her husband would wager tens of thousands of dollars a week on sports.

Tiger Woods - Once America's favourite athlete and poster child for good character, flaws have been found in Tiger's armour. Rumours have it that a big night at the casino with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line is business as usual.
