MatchMySound And RSL Awards Partner To Design Online Platform For Music Teachers
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This exciting marriage of MatchMySound's sophisticated platform with the fabulous content that RSL Awards are world-renowned for creates an entirely new dimension within the examination market, offering teachers and students a vital learning and exam prep environment for today's world.

MatchMySound music practice and feedback technology and RSL Awards, a global music examinations awarding body, have partnered to develop their "RSL Learning Platform" to support progression toward exams with guided practice and real-time feedback for music teachers and their students.

The integrated teaching and exam preparation platform will provide instant feedback on the performance of any piece in the RSL Awards Global Contemporary Music Method, supporting guided practice, lessons, and exam preparation. RSL Learning Platform will be free for teachers to use with their students and offers a remote, synchronous solution during this time where in-person learning and performances are not possible.

"We are delighted to be partnering with MatchMySound and we look forward to working together on launching this fantastic initiative," said RSL Awards CEO John Simpson. "Music education remains at the very heartbeat of RSL Awards, and during these unprecedented times, it is important that we empower both student and teacher with the tools that enable online learning."

"MatchMySound's powerful guided practice and feedback technology provides an exciting new avenue for users of RSL's syllabus," said James Kimberley, EMEA Business Development Director for MatchMySound. "This exciting marriage of our sophisticated platform with the fabulous content that RSL Awards are world-renowned for creates an entirely new dimension within the examination market, offering teachers and students a vital learning and exam prep environment for today's world."

RSL Learning Platform will go live at the end of October, at which point teachers interested in using the app with their students can sign up to RSL's free teacher registry where they will have access to scores for use in RSL Awards exams, as well as an abundance of features designed to make teaching more effective.

Accelerando is a music education company that specializes in music assessment technology. Its flagship practice and feedback technology, MatchMySound, powers the apps Achieve Music, Noteflight's SoundCheck, MusicFirst's Practice First, Habits of a Successful Musician series, Piano Adventures' Sightreading Coach, My Choral Coach, and Marching Band Pro. A respected technology leader in music education, the company has license agreements with major publishers, including Hal Leonard, Alfred Music, GIA Publications, Music Sales, and Piano Adventures. Accelerando also works with School of Rock, one of the world's largest music lesson providers. The company recently developed Songley, an app that is transforming the relationship between performing artists and their fans. The company's mission is to make learning fun, exciting, and affordable, and proudly serves its solutions to publishers, schools, private teachers, student musicians, and hobbyists worldwide.

In 1991, under the direction of founder Norton York, Rockschool created a unique set of products for a brand-new marketplace: recognized, graded qualifications for contemporary musicians. The traditional instruments performing in a rock band were included in the original graded examinations: electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums. After the initial success with these instruments, the company has developed syllabi in acoustic guitar, vocals, piano and keyboards, ukulele, contemporary music theory, and the world's first music production syllabus. Over recent years, the company, based in West London, has developed a full suite of vocational qualifications for the creative industries, which are delivered in over 500 schools and colleges, principally in the UK. These sit alongside a program of contemporary dance qualifications, covering three distinct disciplines: musical theatre, jazz, and street dance, and a new suite of first-to-market CQ qualifications in vlogging and podcasting. A head office team of 50 and a team of over 150 highly trained and certified global examiners, assessors, and moderators help deliver the qualifications across the globe. Rockschool qualifications are recognized and regulated at the highest level by Ofqual, SFA, CCEA, Qualifications Wales, and the Department for Education, with all successful level 3 (Grades 6-8) exams being awarded UCAS points, bolstering university applications.
