New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Prolific Opera singer, Actor, Director and Producer David Serero is nominated for several 2020 BroadwayWorld Awards for the Region of New York. On November 24th 2020, BroadwayWorld has announced the nomination results of the prestigious BroadwayWorld Awards 2020.

The 2020 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards Worldwide, which are this year bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade. BroadwayWorld local editors have set the categories, readers have submitted nominees, and now the audience gets to vote. The 2020 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards are presented by TodayTix. Eligibility is for productions which opened between 2011 and September 30th, 2020.

David Serero is nominated for Best Opera Singer of the Year, Best Performer of the Decade, Best Production of a Musical of the Decade, Best Production of a Play of the Decade, and Best New Work.

David Serero is a critically acclaimed opera singer, actor, director and producer. He has performed more than 2,500 performances in more than 45 countries. He has directed and produced nearly 100 productions, starred in over 100 films and TV series, recorded and produced over 50 albums and played more than 50 lead and title roles (in several languages) from the opera, theatre, and musicals repertoire. In New York, he starred Off-Broadway as Shylock, Cyrano, Othello, Barabas, Yiddish King Lear, Don Giovanni, Figaro, Romeo, Nabucco...and in Paris as Don Quixote (Man of La Mancha) and Happy Mac (Beggar' Holiday). He entered the prestigious WHO'S WHO AMERICA for demonstrating outstanding achievements in the entertainment world and for the betterment of contemporary society. In 2019, he received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, the Morocco Day Distinguished Achievement Award, and the Trophy of the Culture of Morocco, and was named among the fifteen most influential moroccans worldwide by Morocco's airline: Royal Air Maroc. David Serero is a member of the RECORDING ACADEMY and of the TELEVISION ACADEMY and a voting member both of the GRAMMYs and EMMYs.
