At just 24 years old, Dora Jar has already lived many lives. Born in New York and raised in LA, she most recently found inspiration in London, moving to the UK after the tragic passing of her sister Lueza. After uploading snippets of herself playing music to Instagram, she connected with producers such as Felix Joseph, Ralph Castelli and Vron, collaborators with whom she architected the sound of Digital Meadow. The project was introduced with first single "Multiply", which twists influences of grunge, folk and rawly honest pop to breath-taking effect, which began to gain viral momentum, now with over 450,000 streams.. Her next single "Quiver" found its way onto Grimes' "Ethereal" playlist on Spotify, followed by "Polly" which landed a coveted spot on Spotify's Lorem playlist. Jar's early catalogue has earned her peer accolades from Alexander 23, Jeremy Zucker, Remi Wolf, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, and garnered early press praise from Pigeons & Planes, Dazed, Lyrical Lemonade, The Guardian, Evening Standard, DIY, The Line of Best Fit and more, Dora Jar is poised to be the next big artist to watch in 2021.
