With the program in its sixth overall year, Songs For Life - Vol. VI - Together We Will Find A Cure, featuring popular songs from major superstars such as Elton John, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Bryan Adams,
Vanessa Williams,
Natalie Cole and Mariah Carey, will be available from
September 25 - October 31, 2005, or until supplies last.

Albertsons will also once again make a $100,000 donation to breast cancer research, bringing its total donation to the program to date to $500,000.
Consumers receive their free Songs For Life CD by purchasing three participating brand products from any Albertsons, Sav-on, Jewel-Osco, Osco Drug, Shaws or ACME Market and then mailing the register receipt with a completed Songs For Life Free Music CD request form available at the Songs For Life display in any of the Albertsons Family of Stores nationwide. The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) program is dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues, especially the importance of early detection of breast cancer through screening mammography, clinical breast examination, and, for women 20 years of age and older, breast self-examination.
