NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Gotizm Music has entered into an exclusive, worldwide pact with Atlantic Records. Based in Los Angeles, the newly established label was founded by Del Williams, who will also serve as an A&R Consultant to Atlantic Records. The announcement was made today by Atlantic Chairman/CEO Craig Kallman and Gotizm President Del Williams.

In addition to signing distinctive new talent to Gotizm, the label will work in an A&R and consulting capacity with selected artists affiliated directly with Atlantic. Serving primarily as an A&R stream, the label will utilize the marketing, promotion, and publicity resources of Atlantic Records.

Del Williams"We are extremely fortunate to be able to bring Del's new label into the Atlantic fold," said Craig Kallman. "His reputation as a developer and breaker of alternative and rock artists is unparalleled, and he is sure to bring us a roster of exceptional talent. At the same time, we will have the added benefit of drawing on Del's considerable wisdom in helping nurture a new generation of Atlantic artists. Our mission is to provide a fertile breeding ground for great music, and Gotizm is a perfect fit with Atlantic's hands-on, A&R-driven philosophy."

"I am deeply honored to be part of the vision of Atlantic Records," Del Williams noted. "This is a company dedicated to innovation and industry leadership, and the character and executive guidance of Craig Kallman and Julie Greenwald, along with Lyor Cohen at Warner Music Group, is unequaled in this business. At Gotizm, we will be signing and working with a select number of acts, and we will be passionately devoted to creating an environment marked by personal attention and the building of career artists for Atlantic."

For the past 12 years, Del Williams has presided over Alternative Music Marketing Strategies (ARMS Division, Inc.), where he was intimately involved in all aspects of the artist development process, with a focus on such essential elements as airplay and touring. Williams has worked closely with record labels, managers, and musicians to build the careers of many premier alternative and rock artists, among them Sublime, Muse, Rancid, Death Cab For Cutie, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, and Maroon 5.

In addition to his work at ARMS Division, Williams has been President of Right Arm Concert & Talent Division, which procures talent and media partners for music festivals across the country. While he will no longer be affiliated with ARMS Division, Williams will continue to coordinate special events through Right Arm.
