Varese Sarabande started releasing deluxe edition albums in 1989 as part of their CD Club and since then they have been a staple of the label, relaunching classic titles from renowned composers such as
John Williams and Ennio Morricone, among many others. All of these former CD Club releases (many permanently sold out) are being made available digitally for the first time. The albums will be available through streaming and download services, while lossless files are available exclusively through VareseSarabande.com in WAV, FLAC and ALAC formats.

Basil Poledouris - RoboCop 3:
Deluxe Edition
Director Paul Verhoeven's original RoboCop (1987) featured one of Basil Poledouris' most famous themes and beloved scores. Though he wasn't on board for Irvin Kershner's 1990 sequel RoboCop 2, Basil did return for the third installment of the hit franchise with director Fred Dekker's RoboCop 3 in 1993.

The label was formed as a merger between Varèse International Records (named for composer Edgar Varèse) and Sarabande Records (named after a musical dance form). The label's iconic logo - a frequent curiosity of fans around the globe -is actually an inkblot created by blowing a straw on a piece of paper with
India ink.
