New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Incomparable EGOT (EMMY, GRAMMY, Oscar, Tony)-winning singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and social activist John Legend has signed with Republic Records the label announced today. The move kicks off another creative renaissance for the 12-time Grammy Award winning superstar.
"I am excited to partner with Republic Records in this next chapter of my career," says Legend. "Everyone at the label has been so wonderful to work with. I am thrilled to take this new artistic and creative journey with them and look forward to sharing new music with people soon."

Republic Records President, West Coast Creative Wendy Goldstein commented, "There's just no one like John Legend. He's the consummate 21st century superstar whose impact across culture and the world at large only continues to expand. We're so honored to join forces with him as he launches this next era with some of his most powerful music yet."

To mark the occasion, Legend has released a brand-new holiday single entitled "You Deserve It All". Legend notably co-wrote "You Deserve It All" with GRAMMY Award-winning diamond-selling singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor. It marks a reunion between these two powerhouses who first collaborated on 2016's "Like I'm Gonna Lose You"-which went quadruple-platinum and ascended to the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The song was produced by Grammy Award-winner Raphael Saadiq and the upcoming accompanying music video directed by Drew Kirsch [Taylor Swift] seamlessly brings the song to life.

As one of the most celebrated and cherished artists of his generation, John Legend stands out as "the first African American man" and "one of only 16 individuals to achieve EGOT (EMMY, GRAMMY, Oscar, Tony) status." Among dozens of other accolades, he has impressively garnered 12 GRAMMY Awards, while his signature smash "All Of Me" tied with "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee for "highest- certified track in the Recording Industry Association of America's history." He notably played the title role of Jesus in NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert, taking home the EMMY Award as producer in the category of "Outstanding Variety Special." He joined NBC's The Voice as a coach in 2019.
He's also the principal of Get Lifted Film Co. - whose productions include the Broadway show Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations, David E. Talbert's acclaimed holiday film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, the IDA Award-winning HBO documentary series Atlanta's Missing and Murdered: The Lost Children, and the IFC and AMC comedy series Sherman's Showcase.
In 2021, he founded and introduced HUMANLEVEL, which aims to bolster and support communities disproportionately impacted by institutionalized racism.
Legend catalyzed the #FREEAMERICA campaign in 2015 to change the conversation surrounding criminal justice policies and to end mass incarceration. He releases his first album for Republic Records in 2022.
