New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Although he has experienced tragedy in his life, "charismatic" (Garden & Gun) country artist Waylon Payne knows that the world keeps on turning and there are brighter days ahead. On 12.2, Payne shares this sentiment with fans with his new music video for his song "7:28." Watch the music video @ Top40-charts.com

Directed by Dave Ogle (Paramore, Keith Urban) and produced by Eric Masse, the "7:28" video is rich with symbolism. While the song tells a deeply personal story from Payne about the moment he learned of his beloved mother's passing, the video is universally relatable. Using a Phantom high-speed camera, the "7:28" video delivers a visual interpretation of how grief can stop us in our tracks, wanting to slow down time.

"Unexpected pain is real, and there are always many moving parts beyond our control," says Payne, "I hope this brings you comfort."

"7:28" is a standout from Payne's 'The Lost Act' (10.15), which includes three new songs following his critically acclaimed and "timeless" (NPR) album 'Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me.' Listen to 'The Lost Act,' here: music.empi.re/thelostact.

Payne will wrap his tour with Jack Ingram in Texas with back-to-back dates at The Kessler Theater in Dallas, then he is set to head back on the road with Robert Earl Keen, performing across the Southeast through the end of 2021. For a full list of tour dates, visit waylonpaynemusic.co/shows.
