New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After smashing the plays on Spotify with Silverland's Small town Boy the killer remake of the classic by
Bronski Beat track, SIlverland's "Just For A While" followed in the same footsteps and the dance floors have been echoing the tracks.
Silverland is back with a new release for 2022 with "Life" available on all digital platforms via DeeVu records.
It all started as Red Rhythm productions (Now Dead Rhythm productions). Silverland was one half of a US/UK Songwriting, Production, and Remix Team.
Songwriting, production and remix credits included Ashanti, Aaliyah, Sean Paul, Boyz II Men, Run DMC, Kool and the Gang, Tymes 4,
Heaven 17, Eminem,
Liberty X, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Sting, Jimmy Cliff, and Usher.... also wrote, produced & mixed UK boy-band
D-Side - giving them their first Top 10 hit - a success that continued to total 3 UK Top 10s. This was matched with huge success in Asia where they went Number 1 in Japan.
An adequate track record in dance land, with 25 tracks having all gone UK Dance chart Top 10 (back when the club chart meant something) - including 3 Chart No. 1's with Ashanti,
Liberty X, and Shanie and a No. 2 with Chaka Demus & Pliers. One infamous club track "Someone Call The Doctor" being featured on the Hit TV Show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" which is broadcast in over 100+ countries... This included a live performance broadcast on NBC to the US from Scala in
Kings Cross.
In terms of sound-tracks: written, produced, and mixed complete sound- tracks for Universal Pictures, one of which went double Platinum - sales in excess of 1.5 Million, with a further 2 more sound-tracks for Universal both of which went Gold.
Music for Disney in the
Kevin Costner flop " Swing Vote", several successes in music for commercials and toys and a sound-track to a Hollywood Movie "Pinocchio Effect" for "New Line Cinema" This was recorded in Staines, mixed in
India and a flop throughout the worlds cinemas.
The Silverland brand was created in 2013 after Cliff (Silverland) decided to sole concentrate on creating music he loved. Last year saw Silverland collaborate with Pink Panda. They released "People Get Together" on Island Records. This was featured several times on
Radio 1's Dance Anthems and future Anthems.
