Jacob Sartorius Navigates Life's Roller Coaster On Pop-Punk Diary
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Musician, filmmaker, actor, and social media force Jacob Sartorius announces his new EP, SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD. Out August 3rd, the five-track project finds the 19-year-old - who has been in the internet spotlight for almost a decade - learning to navigate LA on his own. Each of the five tracks plays like a page from Jacob's diary, revealing how he has worked through his own experiences with love & heartbreak, anxiety, co-dependence and more on his journey to finding inner peace, acceptance and hope for the future.

Produced by his long-time collaborator Gingerbread (Sean Kingston, Jake Smith, iann dior) and entirely co-written by Jacob, the project blurs the lines between pop and alt-rock, pulling from Jacob's variety of influences ranging from Blink182 to Blackbear to Justin Bieber. From the angsty pop-punk-infused "LEMONADE" to the sly, free-flowing "SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD," Jacob continues to bring his signature vulnerability that his fans look to him for.
"This EP documents my current headspace and my experiences living alone in LA," says Jacob. "I'm continuing to learn more about balance & inner peace. I constantly feel a need to rush or that I'm not doing enough. This project really captures that mood. I've continually been working on pulling back the curtain and sharing a more vulnerable side of myself. The project's pop-punk vibes also give fans a little tease for what's to come, which is super exciting!"

The Gen-Z star - who has an audience of 39M+ followers across platforms - has already previewed the EP's first two tracks: "WORTH IT" and "FEAR OF INTIMACY." On the impossibly infectious "WORTH IT," Jacob admits that no matter how it might seem on the screen, it's not always perfect and everyone has their moments. "FEAR OF INTIMACY" - the first single from the EP - is a deceptively sunny track confronting his own commitment issues stemming from his anxiety.

On June 27th, Jacob will host a select group of London fans at a secret location on London's West End for exclusive first-listen of this EP. Attendees will be selected at random for this VIP experience and notified via email on Friday, June 25th. Registration is open now, here.

SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD follows Jacob's October 2021 EP, Lost But Found, which American Songwriter called "infectious" and "sharp." Lost But Found is the soundtrack of his debut film - Breathe: the Documentary - which chronicles Jacob's journey to Amsterdam to meet the man who created the breathwork technique that changed his life, Dutch wellness guru Wim Hof. Learn more about Jacob's experience with the Wim Hof Method and his journey to inner peace with recent interviews with GQ, Morning Brew's Imposters Podcast, ABC News, and Health Digest.
