Jacob Collier Joins Joni Mitchell For His First-ever Grammy Performance, Playing An Original Piano Arrangement Of "Both Sides Now"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jacob Collier performed live at the GRAMMY Awards for his very first time, marking another historic milestone in a career that now includes six GRAMMY wins, twelve nominations, and an endless number of wildest-dreams-worthy collaborations. Joining nine-time GRAMMY Award winner and ultimate music icon Joni Mitchell for her debut GRAMMY performance and a once-in-a-lifetime rendition of "Both Sides Now,"Collier played an original piano arrangement he created and shared with Mitchell for this very occasion. He took the stage alongside an all-star ensemble of friends and fellow Joni Jammers - Allison Russell, Blake Mills, Brandi Carlile, Lucius and SistaStrings - and is overwhelmingly honored to have been a part of this unforgettable moment.

Jacob Collier previously appeared on the GRAMMY® telecast to present the award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2021, when he was up for Album of The Year with his breakthrough Djesse Vol. 3 LP. Since then, he became the first British artist to win a GRAMMY Award for each of his first four albums (In My Room, Djesse Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3), while continuing a creative streak that just earned him his sixth career GRAMMY win yesterday. In addition to taking home the award for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals ("In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning" with säje), Collier is thrilled to congratulate his "Good Days" co-writer and collaborator, SZA, for her 3 wins.

Leading up to the GRAMMY Awards, Jacob Collier also returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to deliver a soul-stirring, eight-part harmony-laden rendition of his song "Witness Me" last week, with help from Tori Kelly, Stevie Mackey and more. The UK phenom will be back in LA to headline the Greek Theatre in May, on the heels of selling out the Hollywood Bowl this past fall.

In the meantime, Jacob Collier will release Djesse Vol. 4 on February 29th (Hajanga / Decca / Interscope). As the epic climax to the four-part journey that first began in 2018, this final album features 16 sweeping songs and an unsurprisingly staggering list of special guests. Chris Martin, John Legend, aespa, Tori Kelly, Madison Cunningham, Chris Thile, Yelle, CHIKA, Anoushka Shankar, The Aeolians 2018 Choir, Lindsey Lomis, his mother Suzie Collier, and others have all just been announced, in addition to recently unveiled singles featuring Camilo, Shawn Mendes, Stormzy & Kirk Franklin, Michael McDonald & Lawrence, Brandi Carlile, John Mayer & Lizzy McAlpine, a co-write with Remi Wolf, and the collective "Audience Choir" of 150,000 fans' voices, which Collier recorded in every corner of the world across his last two years of global touring.

Following the album's release, Jacob Collier will further expand his all-embracing sonic universe, on a world tour that will include SOLD-OUT shows at Radio City Music Halland dozens more of his biggest North American performances to date. Find the full list at jacobcollier.com/tour, including newly added stops at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre and beyond.
