New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lawrence - "the kick-ass eight-piece family band reshaping the music business" (Switched On Pop) fronted by siblings Gracie and Clyde Lawrence - released their fourth studio album, Family Business (Beautiful Mind Records) on June 21. This weekend, the band took their singular soul-pop to the stage of CBS Saturday Morning with performances of "Do", "Something In The Water", and "Circle Back" off the new LP.

Lawrence also just appeared on the TODAY Show to perform new track "Whatcha Want", as well as popular digital platform Trackstar for a 4 song session (including a funky rendition of Britney Spears' "Toxic")
Family Business has already amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify and debuted in the top 10 on the Spotify New Albums chart in the US. As a direct response to their most asked question, "What's it like to work with your sibling?," Family Business explores Lawrence's DIY ethos and Gracie and Clyde's feelings about growing up together as a creative family duo, all inspired by the 70s and 80s soul funk faves of the duo's childhood: Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Randy Newman, Michael Jackson, and Huey Lewis.
Alongside previously released singles "i'm confident that i'm insecure,""23," and "Guy I Used To Be," on Family Business, there are songs that directly explore Lawrence's DIY ethos and their feelings about growing up together as a creative family duo. Alongside the titular, theme song-esque "Family Business", there is the business-themed "Promotion" and "Circle Back", while "Hip Replacement" asserts self-confidence in the face of the hype-driven Hollywood game, "Death of Me" explores feelings of burnout, and "Do" tackles the challenge of trusting your instincts.
This week on Switched On Pop, the sibling duo unpacked what it means to "combine exceptional talent, savvy business acumen, and a familial bond" — from testifying before Congress to tackling industry monopolies, managing their tour logistics and branding, and running their own audio, Lawrence "seamlessly blends the artistry of music with the realities of a family-run enterprise." In the lead-up to releasing Family Business, Lawrence hit some amazing career milestones: they opened for The Rolling Stones at MetLife Stadium, are featured on Meghan Trainor's new song "Crushin'", played a surprise show with Quinn XCII in NYC, and performed their collaborative single "Wherever I Go" with Jacob Collier at a sold-out Radio City Music Hall and Kings Theater in NYC as well as The Greek in Los Angeles. Plus, Gracie, an accomplished actress, will be a series regular in the upcoming season of Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble's Sex Lives of College Girls on MAX, playing the character of Kacey.
Lawrence also will be embarking on their biggest-ever headline tour this summer and fall, which includes NYC's Radio City Music Hall (low ticket warning) and a sold-out Wiltern in Los Angeles. It marks their first tour since opening 60+ dates for The Jonas Brothers in 2023, and several other shows in North America and overseas have already sold out. Full itinerary below.
