Nashville, TN (Equity Music) - Equity Music Group recording act Little Big Town continues to win fans and impress critics across the country with each week's continued chart success. This week the group's CD, The Road To Here, hit No 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart, the only country act to take the No 1 position in 2005. The CD also cracked the Top 25 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and the Top 100 on the magazine's Top 200 Chart. Meanwhile, their debut single, 'Boondocks,' is No 12 on R&R and No 13 on Billboard's Country Singles Charts. The group just wrapped a month-long tour with CMA Entertainer Of The Year Keith Urban.

'Each new week brings a greater success story for this incredible band,' said Equity President Mike Kraski. 'We at the label continue to be amazed at the hard work and dedication these four people put into their music, yet we are not at all surprised by the reaction from music fans. I saw it on the Keith Urban tour. I see it at both the radio and sales levels. This is a reaction song-people hear it, they like it, they need to own it. And when they hear the rest of the music on the CD, well, it only gets better. I have no doubt that this time next year we're going to be looking at a CD that is one of the biggest success stories of the year. And it couldn't happen to a nicer and more talented group of people.'

Little Big Town is scheduled to perform a few more concerts dates in December, including a Christmas concert with the Lexington Philharmonic on December 13th, and then take a much-deserved break from the road until January 2006.
