PHILADELPHIA, PA (Medical Broadcasting Company) - Medical Broadcasting Company (MBC), a leading healthcare interactive marketing agency, is getting into the spirit of the holiday by hosting an online holiday concert to help raise money for the New Orleans Musicians' Clinic (NOMC), a not-for-profit healthcare partnership for musicians.

Known for its innovative Web-based holiday greeting cards, MBC's message of hope will help support the healthcare needs of musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina. The agency utilized state-of-the-art "on demand" video technology allowing holiday card recipients to instantly experience the online concert of Cajun-style music by Zydeco-A-Go-Go. The concert was filmed at MBC's Philadelphia office, but recipients of MBC's online holiday card can view the performance "anytime, anywhere" by going to https://www.mbcnola.com.

"All creative people love New Orleans, and I think share the fear that it won't come back from this disaster the way it was. That it might get rebuilt as a shopping mall version of itself. The music, the real music, is so essential to the heart of New Orleans. We wanted to help make sure that the musicians also get taken care of," said Linda Holliday, President of MBC.

MBC's in-house production team, and additional special crew from Clark Media, were led by director Ed Buffman, who helped realize MBC's vision. Buffman is no stranger to innovative online video efforts as he also directs the Sessions@AOL online music series. Zydeco-A-Go-Go also donated its time to help fellow musicians in this time of need.

MBC's online holiday card is being sent to thousands of people within the pharmaceutical and healthcare community. It's hoped that by increasing awareness the efforts of NOMC will garner more support for its important mission to New Orleans area musicians. Of course, anyone can experience the event at https://www.mbcnola.com.
