WHO: Ellie Lawson, whose debut album, The Philosophy Tree, was hailed by Billboard Magazine as "a perfect marriage of melody, rhythm and voice," is an artist whose compelling voice and rich sonic landscape reflect personal determination and self-discovery. Born in South London, the vocalist/lyricist/musician/composer has invented a unique musical world that is beat-driven and organic, lyrical and edgy, thoughtful and entrancing.

Saul Williams' groundbreaking work in the critically acclaimed film "Slam" made him a figurehead of the spoken word/slam poetry movement that has spread across the United States. Williams is the author of three collections of poetry: said the shotgun to the head, She, and The Seventh Octave. Williams' musical debut, Amethyst Rock Star, received high praise, including "album of the year" by the Times of London. Williams' fourth book of poetry, The Dead Emcee Scrolls, will be released on Feb. 1.
