Nashville, TN (Craven Country Jamboree) - Today, Craven Country Jamboree organizers announced three more big names for their already powerful lineup for the July 13-16, 2006 edition of the country music festival. Weekend passes are still available for the incredible price of $119, giving country music fans three more reasons to buy tickets now.
Randy Travis the holder of 90 country music awards and counting returns to the Craven stage after more than a decade. Travis, the new traditional face of country music in the late 1980s, with 22 No.1 hits, six No. 1 albums, five Grammy's and many more awards, will lend authenticity and old-world country charm to support the soon-to-be announced Friday night headliner.
Sawyer Brown, venerable entertainers who proudly represent the blue-collar music fan, will bring the party atmosphere out on Sunday night, warming up the crowd for already announced festival headliner, Alan Jackson.
Gold-album selling band, Trick Pony, will bring their brand of hard hitting and energetic country to the Craven Valley on the Saturday, making this night a must-see middle day of the three-day festival.
"We're excited to announce three more strong acts today,' said Brian Andrews, show producer. "But, we're not done yet. We're still finalizing five more great acts, including our Friday night headliner. Stay tuned, we're not finished building the strongest lineup this province has ever seen.'
Included in the line-up are previously announced acts Alan Jackson, Big and Rich, Craig Morgan, Restless Heart, Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, Amanda Wilkinson, Blackhawk, Little Texas, Freddy Fender, and the comedy duo of Williams and Ree, who will once again host the event.
A limited number of weekend passes are still available for the incredible price of $119, but they are selling quickly.
