(Launch) - The Xenon Pictures documentary "Welcome To Death Row" is scheduled to be released on video Sept. 25. The film chronicles the rise and fall of the influential gangsta label that established the emergence of Dr. Dre as a solo artist, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and resurgence of Tupac. The film, which was produced without the support of the label headed by Marion Suge Knight, includes interviews with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Michael Harris, who claims to have given Knight the start-up money to fund Death Row Records. Lydia Harris, Michael's wife and executive producer of the film, says it was important for her to tell this story. "I've been living this story for about 10 years and it was hard for me to go out and get a deal for the truth to come out," she said. "And this story was entertaining, so that a lot of people can see what really went on when we started Death Row Records."
