Nashville, TN (Little Big Town Official Website) - When Little Big Town took the stage in Evansville, IN last Thursday to open the show on the first date of John Mellencamp's 'Words & Music Spring Tour 2006,' they made an impression on more than the sell-out audience at Roberts Stadium. Mellencamp himself was so pleased with his choice of opening act that he invited the band to join him on stage the next night in West Lafayette to lend their voices to 'Pink Houses,' his massive 1993 hit single. The audience reaction to the collaboration was so overwhelming, Mellencamp has since asked Little Big Town to perform the song with him each night for the remainder of the tour. 'It's a moment I'll never forget,' Little Big Town's Kimberly Roads said. 'There I was, face to face sharing a microphone with John Mellencamp and performing one of the songs I used to sing into my hairbrush in front of my bedroom mirror! He's an amazing performer, and he has so much energy on stage it's infectious.' The Equity Music Group recording artists, whose The Road To Here album has recently been certified Gold by the RIAA, will be on tour with the rock superstar throughout April.
