NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Michael Jackson, Sting, Barry Manilow, Randy Newman, and Ashford & Simpson are this year's inductees into the National Academy of Popular Music's Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards and Dinner, which is in its 33rd year, will be held on June 13 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers. The event will also award the Abe Olman Publisher's Award for Excellence in Songwriting to select promising songwriters. This year's recipients are Johnny Rodgers, John Stephens, Elizabeth Jordan, Colin Brooks, and Lee Kweller.

Tickets for the event are available through 212.573.6933, with net proceeds going to the Songwriters Hall of Fame's programs.
